Yesterday a steering group meeting for ASTER (Alliance for Sustainable E-Commerce) took place in Lindholmen Science Park, Gothenburg.

In ASTER a large number of companies and organizations related to Swedish commerce and logistics have gathered with the common mission to drive the change towards yet more sustainable e-commerce solutions. The goal of ASTER is efficient, competitive e-commerce without negative effects on climate and health. 🌱💚

This is something that we in Greencarrier think is really important and we are really happy to be part of ASTER!

For many years Greencarrier has been a partner to The Swedish Rescue Mission (Räddningsmissionen), and each year our employees have also engaged in collecting Christmas presents to vulnerable families and homeless people.

During the pandemic, the number of families in need of support has increased. With Christmas donations from our Greencarrier employees and our Greencarrier Spirit fund we want to help The Rescue Mission in giving joy and holiday spirit to many families and people in need.

This week we got the opportunity to meet some of the future stars within shipping, when our employees Linda and Albin participated in student mingle at Lindholmen Science park in Gothenburg.
As a company we think it’s important to have a close dialogue with students and possible future employees to ensure that we stay relevant as an employer and is a really attractive place to work 😀
