BP (IF Brommapojkarna) is Europe’s largest football club with 4,000 young active members and 20,500 yearly activities. With this as a basis, they have a great opportunity to be a social actor that influences gender equality and diversity.
Greencarrier’s partnership with BP means that we are a partner to their gender equality work and enable the development of “BrommaGirls Camp”, which is a camp that gives girls their own activity, with female role models.
Here’s a film from this year’s summer camp:
“Greencarrier’s sponsorship of our BrommaGirls Camp has made it possible for us to further increase the quality of the camp. We can use more qualified coaches and improve the material that the girls receive. This will make the girls come back next year, and we can expand the concept further and get more girls moving together in the team!”
Says Manuel Lindberg, Club Director of IF Brommapojkarna.
“Exercise and sports are incredibly important at all ages, but especially for young people, both for physical and mental well-being. I am impressed by the development that BP has made over the past year or so around gender equality and inclusion. Their work is completely in line with the values and views on business that we at Greencarrier strive for. It is therefore extra fun to contribute to “Bromma Girls camp”. Together we make a difference.”
Says Johan Jemdahl, CEO of Greencarrier.
Being a fair and honest business partner, employer and member of the society
Every day we strive to deliver innovative solutions and personal service that makes our customers happy – so that we can continue to be successful. But success for us is not just about economic needs, it’s about considering the wider impact of our operations and being a fair and honest business partner, employer and member of the society.
Each year, we set aside one percent of our profit to our Greencarrier Spirit fund and the money goes to initatives giving back to society and environment. We welcome ideas from all our employees and encourage big and small projects, as well as local and global, but each project need to live up to some of our criteria.
Our partnership with BP and BrommaGirls Camp is one of many projects that we support with money from the fund.
