How long have you worked here?
20 years and a few days now. Overall, I’ve been in the shipping industry for 27 years and a few months.
What are your interests outside of work?
Family and football. But always family first. I have a girlfriend and two kids who keeps me quite busy.😊
I follow two football teams. Our local team in Aarhus, AGF and then Liverpool. I’m also active as a board member in the local football club where I live.
How would you describe your role?
It’s a role where I’m involved in all aspects of our daily jobs. I follow our Customer Service, both on import and export side. I’m involved in our sales and control our equipment. I’m also involved on the finance side, checking our projects, and making sure everything is correct.
How would you summarize the primary purpose of your operations at Greencarrier Service Center?
Our primary focus is to foster a culture of pleasant communication with both our valued employees and clients. This encompasses timely salary processing, addressing inquiries promptly, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all tasks, and maintaining a steadfast commitment to engagement and excellence.
What is the most exciting part of your job?
Just as mentioned above. That I’m involved in everything and can follow everything from A to Z. It also means that you can have one plan for your working day, but when you get in office you must adapt to whatever has happened overnight.
How would you describe the culture at Greencarrier?
Great. Just great. I really feel that we are all following our core values in all offices and especially when we get together for various events.
What is the main reason you chose to work at Greencarrier?
My boss, Morten, and I had quite similar working paths, working in the same companies but not at the same time. We finally worked together but then he moved to Greencarrier. After some time, I felt the need for a change and then it was obvious to call Morten. I called around and everyone had only good things to say about Greencarrier.
When do you feel proud of being part of Greencarrier?
They way the company treat the employees and all the social projects that we are involved in. For example, here in Aarhus we sponsor an old wooden sailboat, which then offers kids with different difficulties a trip around the bay of Aarhus. We are invited to join the trips and it brings such joy to see the smiles on the kids’ faces.
