Greencarrier joins the WIN WIN Gothenburg Sustainability Award, Sweden’s largest sustainability award, as a new partner. Together, they strengthen the work of highlighting and rewarding outstanding contributions toward a more sustainable future.
“It is encouraging to see more companies that want to invest in and commit to sustainable solutions for the future. Greencarrier is a pioneering logistics company whose ambition to transform its operations is inspiring, and at the same time, they want to support global initiatives that drive the climate transition forward.”, says Sara Larsson, Executive Director of the WIN WIN Gothenburg Sustainability Award.
Greencarrier is a family-owned logistics company rooted in Gothenburg with operations in 15 countries. With 280 employees and a strong entrepreneurial culture, the company offers competitive logistics and sea freight solutions worldwide. Beyond delivering world-class logistics, the company has a long-term goal: to be one of the most sustainable logistics alternatives on the market by 2027.
“The ocean is a key focus area for us at Greencarrier, and through our partnership with the WIN WIN Gothenburg Sustainability Award, we want to highlight this as well as support innovative ideas that can change the world. By investing in projects and strategic collaborations, we want to create real change—we believe in the power of cooperation and that together we can achieve more, not least when it comes to improving the state of our oceans and driving long-term sustainable development,” says Anna Svensson, Head of Project Management at Greencarrier.
The partnership between the WIN WIN Award and Greencarrier is an important step in broadening business sector engagement in sustainability issues and promoting cross-sector collaboration. The theme for 2025, “Trailblazing Leadership”, focuses on leaders who dare to challenge the status quo, build trust, and work toward long-term solutions to the most urgent challenges of our time.
