The Blue Initiative
In response, Greencarrier proudly introduces the Greencarrier Blue Initiative – a commitment to protecting our oceans and promoting sustainability within the maritime sector. Through this initiative, we are funding projects and partnerships that work proactively with reducing the environmental footprint of the shipping industry and safeguarding marine ecosystems.

Collaboration for greater impact
Collaboration is at the heart of the Greencarrier Blue Initiative. In 2024, we signed our first partnership with The Perfect World Foundation, a non-profit organization at the forefront of ocean conservation efforts. Greencarrier supports their Project Ocean, a series of initiatives aimed at protecting marine ecosystems. These efforts include:
1. Salvaging maritime waste: Removing harmful debris from the seas.
2. Recycling maritime waste: Giving new purpose to salvaged materials.
3. Planting coral reefs: Restoring vital marine habitats.
4. Raising awareness: Organizing beach clean-ups and educational campaigns.
A long-term vision for sustainability
