Greencarrier and the ship Götheborg will attend Donsö Shipping Meet

Donsö Shipping Meet, held on the island of Donsö just outside Gothenburg, takes place every second year, gathering delegates from around the world to discuss shipping and related topics. This year, Donsö Shipping Meet is being held in collaboration with Gothenburg Port Day (formerly known as Hamndagen), with a focus on global trade and the green transition.

As the owner of the ship Götheborg, this presents an opportunity to attend the Donsö Ship Meet and showcase the significant connection between modern trade and history.

– Götheborg provides a vivid and tangible link to the historical trade that laid the foundation for the present-day city of Gothenburg – a thriving trade hub and an important international port. I firmly believe that in order to progress and move forward, it’s crucial to also grasp our history, says Stefan Björk, owner of Götheborg of Sweden and Greencarrier.

– We eagerly anticipate exhibiting the ship and Greencarrier to the attendees of the event.

The ship is scheduled to arrive at Donsö on the 27th of August and will participate in the event from the 28th to the 30th of August. Greencarrier Group will be present at the fair on the 29th and 30th of August with its own booth, featuring representatives from all companies within the Group.
