Greencarrier Group expands consolidation operations, rebrands Maritime Transport & Agencies to Greencarrier Consolidators

We are expanding our consolidation operations with offices in Hamburg and Singapore. The investment marks the beginning of our long-term ambition to strengthen the consolidation business. Following the expansion, the Greencarrier-owned company Maritime Transport & Agencies (MTA) rebrands to Greencarrier Consolidators.

Opens new offices in Hamburg and Singapore

Greencarrier Group is a family-owned company with over 40 years of specializing in sustainable logistics solutions. Based in the Nordics and Baltics, we now plan to expand our consolidation business to new markets by opening offices in Germany and Singapore. An expansion that provides increased control and opens up new transport routes:

“Hamburg will function as our gateway for the Nordics, facilitating services for the markets in Europe. Singapore is the LCL center for transshipment cargo and distribution in Southeast Asia, supporting both import and export cargo. These strategic locations provide us with increased control over our clients’ transshipment cargo, while also maintaining our close collaborations with partners and agents in these regions”, says Stefan Björk, owner of Greencarrier Group.

MTA becomes Greencarrier Consolidators

The investments are the beginning of our long-term ambition in growing the consolidation business, and a strategic decision to further strengthen and unify the Greencarrier brand. To mark the expansion, the Greencarrier-owned company MTA will rebrand into Greencarrier Consolidators later this year.

“We are pleased to announce the expansion of our LCL capabilities and network not only in our home market but also in Germany and Singapore. We will have significantly better coverage, visibility, and control and we hope that customers will feel that when working with us. During this year we will also continue to invest in our main markets in the Nordic and Baltic countries, focusing on recruiting and developing talent to expand our business operations”, says Nicolas Myrén, CEO of Maritime Transport & Agencies (MTA).
