How long have you worked here?

I have been with the company since the end of April 2023, coinciding with the establishment of our Hamburg office. Initially, we were a small team, but we have grown to over 20 individuals in only nine months. So it feels like I have been part of the team for a longer time.

What are your interests outside of work?

Outside of work, I enjoy photography using my own camera, particularly capturing nature and people. Additionally, I have a keen interest in watching football games. My friends and I often drive to games in Germany, which, despite the winter cold, is always fun.

How would you describe your role?

My role involves onboarding people, working closely with our customers to understand their needs through meetings, calls, and emails. I’m the primary contact for any questions, issues, or orders. My focus is on securing volume and orders while maintaining regular contact and being available to ensure customer satisfaction. It’s a nice experience as I get to meet many interesting people.

What is the most exciting part of your job?

The most exciting part is when a customer expresses enthusiasm about working with us or confirms a booking. It’s gratifying to receive positive feedback and recognition for the work I’ve put in.

How would you describe the culture at Greencarrier?

The culture at Greencarrier is characterized by its people, both within my office and across the organization. The Denmark team, for example, is open and friendly. We embrace diversity, work collaboratively, and maintain a joyful atmosphere. I think this culture is consistent across all offices, fostering a supportive and friendly environment.

When do you feel proud of being part of Greencarrier?

I feel proud all the time. Witnessing our significant growth and being part of a team that contributes to it is a source of pride. The collaborative efforts and evolving positive culture make it easy to take pride in being a member of Greencarrier.

Do you have any advice for customers planning their shipments?

Planning shipments requires considering the dynamic nature of logistics. Constant changes, even due to small factors like weather or vessel adjustments, can impact the planned timeline. It’s crucial to be aware that unexpected events can occur, and flexibility in planning is key.

What advice do you have for those who want to work with your team at Greencarrier?

Strive to do your best, and don’t be afraid to make mistakes, as they are opportunities for growth. Our team operates collaboratively, and support is always available. You won’t feel alone, and teamwork is an essential aspect of our work.

Is there anything else you would like to add?

Yes, I recently completed a training to onboard trainees, and we are in the process of setting up the procedures. We hope to have one or two trainees join our Hamburg office by mid-2024. I believe that bringing in young talent is important for the logistics sector, and I’m excited to contribute to their foundation for future work life.
