We strive to be the sustainability challenger in our industry

Our goal

By 2027, we will be one of the most sustainable logistics options on the market

This strategic decision will impact not only our core operations and services but also significantly reduce the environmental impact of our logistics operations. Furthermore, it will lead to investments in renewable energy and strengthen our focus on social responsibility.

MARITIME BIOFUEL INSETS

Shipping made fossil free

Do you want to reduce the carbon footprint of your shipments? Then we have a solution. By switching to renewable fuels on your next booking with Greencarrier, you can cut fossil emissions by up to 100 %.

This is how it works
When you choose maritime biofuel insets we replace the conventional fuel needed for the transport with biomethane (LBG). The biomethane is not always used in the specific ship transporting your goods. Instead, it is bunkered onto several ships according to the book and claim principle. When choosing maritime biofuel insets for your shipment, we issue a certificate for the CO2 reduction achieved through the fuel switch.

Ready to reduce your emissions? Join us in a shift to a more sustainable shipping industry!

How do we get there?

Our sustainability efforts are structured around the ESG dimensions: Environment, Social sustainability & Governance. In addition, we also aim to invest in renewable energy and projects that drive our society and industry in a more sustainable direction.

Together, these efforts form our five pillars: environmental sustainability, social sustainability, governance, social responsibility, and investments. These pillars constitute the foundation of our commitment to a sustainable future in every aspect of our business.

Our focus on environmental sustainability

Our commitment to the environment is at the forefront of our operations, where we actively strive to reduce CO2 emissions. Through monitoring emissions, evaluating suppliers, offering carbon reductions, improving load efficiency, and embracing more sustainable shipping fleets, we are dedicated to reducing our environmental footprint.
